Mrs. Eveland
Mrs. Eveland:
This is my 13th year with Oskaloosa Community Schools. In 2005- the Oskaloosa Schools took over the Special Education Preschool program from the AEA. I was a special ed. preschool teacher for 4 years. In 2009 I helped start a KinderPrep (transitional kindergarten) program for the district and taught that for 6 years at the webster location. This is my third year back at the elementary school teaching a kindergarten section with the district. No matter what age level or classroom I have taught in, I still continue to feel rewarded and honored to help and watch each child grow academically!
Before my work at Oskaloosa Schools, I worked for the Area Education Agency as a special education teacher for 10 years.
I am married and have 3 girls. They keep me busy going to different extra-curricular activities in the evenings and weekends. My oldest- Brooke, is starting her 2nd year of college this fall. Megan will be a Junior and Anna in 7th grade. My hobbies include camping, gardening, being outdoors, spending time with family and learning new ideas and skills for the classroom!
